Mercer moves to 9-8, 5-2. Mercer really could have blown this team out, but there were too many mistakes -- and in my opinion the refs were clearly one sided favoring the home team. I haven't seen the final numbers year, but Upstate could basically do whatever they wanted on offense down low. Their big guy had free reign. Also got away with some walks. Mercer was called for 3 seconds in the key, and about 3 times called for stepping on the baseline when there was contact that forced them that way. When Upstate comes to Macon they will lose easily just by this factor alone. I can't wait to see the difference.
