Didn't ETSU turn down the Titans when they asked to have their training camp in JC?

I noticed the comment that by moving to the SoCon ETSU briefly moved up to Div 1 in FB, but that was short lived. I remember that being one of the drawing cards for moving to the SoCon from the OVC.

Yes they did, Brian Smith that used to write for the BHC did a HUGE piece on that whole deal, and published the documents between the Titans organization and Paul Stanton. I saved them to my desktop and read them whenever I feel like being pissed off.

Lover- I don't remember Smith producing the documents.

If you could post what you have, I'd be appriciative. My comment is not to pick a fight, but rather to say that I don't remember documents being printed in the paper.

Look, I was covering the move at the time. Of course they were in negotiation, but doesn't it make sense for a team that is eventually moving to Nashville but will have to play initially in Memphis to train in Middle Tennessee and establish a fan base?

Remember, when ETSU and the Oilers were negotiating, football at ETSU was supported by the administration.
