Agreed on all counts. Everyone has to play reasonably well for us to have a chance tonight, but Belcher needs to get his 3pt shot back. He has lost his confidence...with good reason, but he really needs to find his shot again. He's a tough matchup when he's shooting well. We also need to pound it in the post early to try and get Hodzic in foul trouble and we need to use our 10 fouls in the post and make the fouls count. He needs to be exhausted and sore at the end tonight. If we get pushed around and are timid we'll lose by 20. Win or lose, I'll still hate DLU.

It is amazing how far off Keaton has fallen. He was looking GREAT early on with an expanded offensive game. He was dunking, shooting, and having a very good start. I also don't think that Jordan has fully gotten back to his pre-injury level of confidence either, though that may be getting better.

Well in the Godfather, they say that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. So when it comes to DAVID lipscomb hatred we can get along just fine. Come ETSU/Belmont...that's a different story. But for now I am content to joint your hatred of those purple pissing bastards at DAVID lipscomb.

Tried to log on Belmont's broadcast to listen, but can't connect. Looks like Belmont has changed it's audio feed to "broadcastmonsters" or something.......it doesn't work. I've enjoyed listening to the Belmont broadcasts in years past. Too bad!

I'm watching this game on ESPN360..... Lipscomb fans are throwing confetti for every basket. Where do they come up with this stuff?

I agree about how far Keaton has fallen. Here is what I wrote on the Kansas thread.

"He's one of my favorite players on the team, but the team is struggling as Keaton is struggling. As the senior on the team, he has to get his shot back. In the last three games he is 3 of 18 from 3 point and is averaging 7.6 points per game.

We can't depend on the freshmen to pick up our play. I hope this coming week will be the cure for Keaton."

I still stand by this statement. I don't know what has made him lose his confidence, but it happened to him last year. I hope he finds his range again. He is a good kid.

I don't actually hate DLU. I have friends who graduated from there. However, it pains me to lose to them more than anyone.

I'm with you 2002, I don't hate Lipscomb, but I do hate losing to them. Let's hope we can redeem ourselves in the second game of the Battle of the Boulevard.

It's amazing how you can get 5,500 fans at at Boulevard game but only 700 at a regular Belmont or Lipscomb game. There must be some hatred somewhere.

You can have a rivalry without hating the guts of the other school. During the game, I want to beat Lipscomb more than anything, but afterwords, I don't have anything against them personally. For me, the rivalry is heated, but not hateful. It's a shake hands and move on type of thing. Now ETSU/Belmont that's another thing...

Oh, and by the way, Belmont usually averages around 1,000 - 1,500 fans a game, but it has dropped with the students being gone and one of our games being moved to 4:15 in the afternoon on a weekday. Also, the weather hasn't helped much with attendance.

It's more like competition between brothers. You never want to lose to your brother, but you love him just the same.

The attendance isn't where I would like it. There is just too much to do in Nashville and we are plagued here with Vol fans. Most people I talk to root for Belmont, but they don't make the effort to go to many games because they are too involved with UT, Vandy, or even the Predators.
