As long as there are no on-side kicks or signaled fair catch punts, the worst college football officials in the country won't have a problem.

SEC, Pac10, Big10, Big East ... all the major conference officials suck.

they're pretty good at inventing new rules during replay.

I think SEC took over worst officials this year...
UF vs Arky
UG vs LSU
I'm sure there's more.

During several other conference title games and bowls I have heard the annoucers praise a BE crew doing the game, and they have commented more generally on their opinion that BE officials are among the best they have seen. They've made their share of idiot calls, but that is true in every league.

SEC crews were the worst this year by far. They played the FLA and BAMA cards way too much this year.

SEC crews always make sure their conference keeps as many undefeated teams as possible, as long as possible. That way their teams move up the polls during the regular season and it helps pump up their conference championship game. It's all about the money with the cheat'n son of a ******* in the SEC.

As long as college football continues to employ part time officials they will continue to suck for every conference.

Though I agree, keep in mind that the NFL does the same thing. A close friend is an NFL side judge, last time we talked salary, he said he made 65K per year. He also can bank an extra 1K per game for showing up early and doing a field check the day before the game. It takes about 15 mins. My buddy lives in Louisville but will drive to Cincy or Indy on Saturday, do the field check and be home before lunch. Easy money...

He still has a regular job but 65K to 75K a year for a part time job ain't shabby.

I know a lot of folks that would love 65K for their full time jobs...
