BCS "trivia"
Which conference has won more BCS games in the BCS era, the WAC, the Mountain West or the ACC?
Trick question - they've all won the same number of games. The difference, of course, is that the ACC's had four times as many tries at it...

Boise State has won as many BCS bowls as the entire ACC.

The ACC was better with seven schools.

The ACC was a 7 team conference twice.
The first time was when the league was founded with Maryland, NC State, Wake Forest, Duke, Carolina, South Carolina, and Clemson (Virginia was not a founding member).
The Second time was when South Carolina left the Conference. Georgia Tech filled their #8 spot.

RE: BCS "trivia"
more trivia for this year at least:
which bcs conference will have the best winning percentage in bowl games regardless of tonight's mncg?
that would be the big east at 4-2
next is the big 11 at 4-3, the acc at 3-4 and the pac 10 at 2-5.
the reason that i did not list the sec or big 12 is because whoever loses tonight brings the conference record to .500. (sec 5-4, big 12 4-3) the best the sec coud do would be 6-4 for a .600 or big 12 5-3 for a .625 neither beats the big east at 4-2 for .667.
not bad for a league that doesn't deserve to keep its bcs bid.

I suspect few will take solace in that considering the top 2 Big East bowls were lost.

i give cincy a break because of all of that circus involving their head coach leaving right before the bowl. different from urban meyer because he coached his kids throughout the season. i think cincy missed having brian kelly on the sidelines.
now in the other bowl, wvu played uninspired ball and looked like they gave up during the game. but still, if you want to go there, the acc lost it's top bowl for the, what 8th time in 10 years and only won 1 out of their top 3.

The ACC had a bad bowl season as usual too. The Big Ten's 4-3 is more impressive than the Big East's 4-2.
