That is cruel and unusual punishment, but I liked it.

I hate to say it but that thread is hilarious. Just goes to show you what happened in the Fred Gruniger and Bob Mulcahy eras.

If RU ever leave the BE, BE should request a full refund of all the basketball money rest of the conference has given to the Scarlet Knights over the years 03-lmfao

Unfortunately since our last trip to the big dance was in 1991, its a legit request. When we were in the A-10 we weren't half bad, however I do believe if we had accepted the original Big East invite things would have turned out very differently in general.

RU is one of those schools sitting on top of prime recruiting ground for football and basketball that has been a sleeping giant for the past 100 years and counting. Sadly but their best sport might be their women's hoop program who will get the annual reality check when they meet UCONN later.

UCONN beat their cousin Seton Hall tonight. I believe Seton Hall has a decent team that is probably better than RU this year.

The women's team isn't too good this year. I think CVS is losing her touch with all these stupid awards and such.

Quincy Douby in Madison Square a few years back is the greatest moment in Rutgers recent history.
