Gotta give credit where it is due
Granted the Big 10 didn't play USC and a SEC team in the BCS this year but this conference won its bowl games top to bottom this bowl season. Hopefully this trend doesn't continue but just maybe the Big 10 is on the upswing. Wisky returns most of its team and the same with Iowa and Ohio St.

The Big 10 actually only went 4-3 in their bowl games. But when you consider how tough the match ups were and how competitive the games were, I agree it was a good performance.

They won the right matchups, the ones at the top of their conference. Two BCS games and their top non-BCS game

Penn State beat LSU. The only people whining about the Big Ten this off season will just be haters.

after seeing the games so far, no question cincy got the absolute worst matchup possible. Fla would have steamrolled any of these teams except maybe ohio st so far. oh well.

The Big10's bowl season was very impressive. I have them #1 for the bowl season right now, they'll finish #2 only if Alabama wins the title game.

Agree....Props to the Big Ten (finally!).

Big Ten won their Top 3 Bowl Games, which obviously included TWO BCS Bowl wins...and in their 4th best bowl game...lil Northwestern lost in OT.

Big Ten showed up in the BIG GAMES...and thats obviously what counts the most (i.e. since that is what people general watch).

4-0 against teams in the Top 15 of the BCS.

I think it was all about the "cold snap" 03-lmfao

Kidding aside, props to the B-11 04-bow The teams that did lose weren't exactly blown out, either.

Call a spade a spade, Big Ten rebounded very well this year and played well in the Big bowl games.

Regarding Cincy vs. Florida, ..............Florida beat Ohio State by 27 in the NC Game.

Florida - UC, 51-24
Florida -OSU, 41-14

They have an incredible program.
