That's basically what Alabama did tonight against the Rockets. But, I wouldn't have been surprised to see the Tide beat Toledo by twice that margin. Kudos to the Rockets for at least getting a home game against Alabama.

What I took away from this game that was the most fascinating is that this is Alabama's first true road game of the season. 03-banghead

Impressive for a MAC school to get that kinda of game in hoops. Props to Bama for playing Toledo. Toledo may be down, but its these games that may help recruiting. MAC teams need to play some high quality home games to improve recruiting.

Game was pretty much over midway through the first half, but from halftime on the Rockets played it pretty even. The stat sheet (except for FG and FT %) says they could have won.

it doesn't hurt to get them at home, but it really helps if you beat them. a typical joplin era toledo team would have probably won this game, although i will say bama is much better coached under anthony grant. they don't have the overwhelming talent they often had on previous teams (that weren't always good). toledo's crowd had nothing much to cheer about, bama led 15-20 pts whole game.
