On the Fox telecast they just showed him watching the game in a luxury box watching the 'Boys play the Philadelphia Eagles today. Should the 'Ole Miss Rebels be worried, or Wade Phillips being worried that Jerry Jones wants to do some more meddling with the Team? I know he says his job is secure, but a loss in the first round of the playoffs would end all of that in my humble opinion.

Wade Phillip's replacement is already on staff at Dallas. The highest paid Coordinator in the history of the game.....Jason Garrett.

Jerry and Nutt are buddies.

But also I don't think even Jerry is that stupid... Nutt would be a disaster in the NFL.

He had some former players playing in the game, as well as the JJ connection.

us Cowboy fans need to realize that Jerry will always be meddling in some places he shouldn't.

I wouldn;t want to be a head coach somewhere I couldn't hire my own staff.
Garrett is a good offensive coordinator....but even in the event that he has a down year or two...Wade couldn't fire him if he wanted to.
The only two coaches Jerry has had that could name their own staffs has been Jimmy Johnson and Bill Parcells.
With Jerry having the ego that he has...he is very reluctant to cede that kind of control over to another head coach.

If my $250 million dollar investment turned into being worth over $1 billion, I'd be damn sure my input was stamped on everything. Jerry built this, and it is his, sink or swim. I'm surprised that more owners aren't more involved.

Wade is a bumbling, old school position coach that is way out of his league as the head coach of the Cowboys. He'll be gone soon and it may well be Garrett or some other big name who is lurking out there.
