our offensive line is atrocious, we might be better off with 5 tackling dummys

Daniels has to throw that ball away. He can't take a 20 yard sack. 03-banghead

Daniels is exciting and quite frustrating at the same time. Followed up a 20 yard sack with an overthrow and a near pick. Excitement is nice but he needs to reign in that talent.

Almost like he needs to be the one to get poked in the chest, put in an electrical closet...joking of course.

it doesn't look good for the future, they put a 3 man rush and all 3 guys beat their man, it looked like a screen play.

warren's not ready? he's a 5th year senior next year. i don't see any replacements coming in, better get used to that lineup next year.

Lets just remember this, the MAC has lost their last 14 (or 15) bowl games. No one wants to be the one of the wrong end of that streak ending.

I dont know what you are talking about
Warren is a sophomore (3rd year after RS)
Hines is a walk on that shouldnt be starting
Popek is a RFr that probably needs another year
Bass is a guard having to play OT, not quick enough to stop outside rush
Genus at center is the only one that is playing consistently right now.

As for next year I think you could see RFR Jacques taking over for either Hines or Warren next year and dont be surprised if Green also taking the other guard spot. What we need is an OT that would move Bass to OG where he would be better at

warren was originally part of the 2006 class (sabbath joseph's class) but i forgot he didn't qualify. so you are right technically he'll be a 4 year junior next year, however he should be a 5 year senior.

bass, warren, genus, hermann, popek is our lineup next year pretty much what we have on the field now minus hermann. so better hope there's some major development over the off season or else it will be more of the same of bj running for his life and chucking and ducking.

Once again wether he should be or not the reality is that he has been in our program for three years.
As for next year see my post above.
Certaintly OLine is a weak spot for USF that needs to be improved.

Is this a patchwork o-line or has this been your group all season? BJ will connect on a deep ball the second half once you start running the ball, your WR's have already been getting enough separation.

i'm hoping jacques breaks through, but it's asking a lot for a freshman to unseat our most experienced lineman in hermann. can he move to left guard, i guess we'll see. green would also be another guard trying to play tackle, but he may be an upgrade considering how badly bass and warren have played this year at left tackle, however that depends on how early he can get to campus. either way i'm not encouraged with the way NIU is carving up our o-line right now.

USF needs to move the pocket for Daniels. He has the wheels.

we're missing a few players but we're definitely not playing well. bj's not helping things with his happy feet and inability to check down. thankfully the defense is shutting down their offense, but this is starting to remind me of the rutgers game.
