Well you got it. I do think the game may have been a little closer if UC had not gone through all of this coaching stuff but Tommy Tuberville (who I am really beginning to dislike) said it best; UC is outclassed and if UF is focus this game will not be close.

I read the stuff from CatsClaw and a few others and I am sure I will be attacked for this post but be careful what you ask for in the future.

Other than that, it was a great season by UC and the BE conference.

Nobody "asked" for Florida's A game. You seem to conveniently forget YOU started this by running over here and bragging about how Florida would be motivated because of Urban Meyer's health. Everybody was wondering why a UAB fan was worrying about Florida on a Big East board. You were worrying about the Cincinnati vs Florida game instead of worrying about your program. As for "be careful what you wish for", I would love to play Florida in the Sugar Bowl next year. And you know you would to. Heck, Florida blasted Ohio State in the national title game by 27 points a few years ago, and then went through the ACC like a hot knife through butter. UC knew what they were in for, but Kelly abandoning the team hurt the planning. Why a UAB fan is worried about what Cincinnati fans are saying about Florida I will never know. But if you don't want to be "attacked", don't try and get into it with fans whose teams are in a bowl game you're not involved in. Notice how we aren't worried about UAB?

An added note though, it tells you how far Cincinnati football has come, when the same fans who looked down at UC, or didn't think we would accomplish anything in the Big East, are laughing because we finally lost a game, that happened to be to the two-time national champs in the Sugar Bowl. Heck, the same people who looked down on the Big East give us the same respect as other BCS conferences, getting excited when anyone in the conference loses a game. In a weird way, it makes me feel good, because you see programs like Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida, USC and Texas or the Big Ten or Pac-10 or Big 12, going through this, and it makes you feel good because, in a way, people are looking up at you and laughing when you stumble. It means you're doing something right.

Because a UAB troll was seeking attention?

In a way, I'm glad we got UF's A-game. Hopefully, it will be a lesson well-learned on what we need to do to step up. In some ways ($$$, as Bennett pointed out), stepping up will be hindered. But, no reason we cannot be perenially ranked if we keep it going.
