Reggie Sonnier
Carrollton (TX) Creekview F 6-4/177 Arkansas-LR
REGGIE is a slashing lefty who makes plays with his reach and athleticism. He anticipates well on the defensive end, gets tips and deflections which lead to points in transition and goes to the boards well to get easy buckets. He has a nice stroke out to the 3 point line, can slice his way to the rim off the dribble and finish with good body control in the paint and will take it to the rim and finish with explosive leaping ability. He has the ability to take over games with his athletic scoring ability and can create and dish to his teammates to keep everyone involved.
Daylon Guy
Fort Worth (TX) Eastern Hills G 6-0/158 Arkansas-LR
DAYLON is a gifted scorer who really knows how to get into the paint and finish in traffic despite his thin and wiry frame. He takes contact well, can finish with a soft touch on floaters and twisting shots at the rim and has a nice stroke with 3 point range. He is very quick off the dribble, can create for himself or get into the paint and find the open man, pushes the ball well in the open court and has good speed. He is often looking to score first but has the skills and passing ability to lead a team.
Leeper is not listed among the best #105 players in Texas. Obviously fits the definition of a "project"
Sonnier sounds like a kid that can help us. Leeper is obviously a big question mark. Guy would probably be a nice player in the future, but we certainly don't need another sub-6ft guard next season. If the coaching change, some are advocating, happens we likely won't see any of these kids anyway.
