I thought from the beginning that their competitive battle would make them both better players and would be an interesting sidestory to watch. Spencer played great last night, and was fun to watch.
While I still think he has to continue to work on his shot, he has played within himself for the most part, takes shots when he gets a good look, and has gotten our offense running for the most part. HE really needs to work on demanding the ball when our offense is stagnant, and running some kind of quick hitter play to get a good shot. He doesn't seem to quite have the confidence yet to go get the ball from Markeith or JMac and set something up with 10-15 secs left on the shot clock.
When we start seeing him have the ability to run something with time running down, we will know that he has taken a large step forward in becoming a viable PG. But there is no doubting that Spencer played a great game last night.
No one likes to sit the bench, so it doesn't surprise me that Kelvin is upset. Hopefully he turns that energy into positive effort and proves his worth in practice and in the games.
So KB, what are your thoughts on Gibson? I thought you said he was out for "disciplinary reasons"?

I retract my comments. All I knew was hearsay. Good to know it was a foot injury and not any boneheaded moves by one of our players. Glad to have him back.

I really don't think there was much of a lesson to be learned from a foot injury ....
I edited my comments to reflect your knowledge in this instance. My comments were based on hearsay

And by the way GFWO - I love having him back in the lineup. He brings something special to our team, and it sure is fun out there. Teams really have to watch their backs with Kurtis, Markeith, and Zadrian in the lineup. No one wants to be embarrassed, and all three of those players have the ability to dunk on just about anyone in the conference.
