good class by louisville, you can't do much about torian wilson, doesn't he have a wife and a kid on the way? i thought he did the responsible thing in staying close to home. what peeves me about our coaching staff is we didn't really put much effort into getting torian wilson and michaelee harris to visit along with todd chandler during the last weekend. they had some weird fixation on robey and michael taylor (who ended up at southern cal and uf respectively) and missed out on a couple of easier lands in wilson and harris.

don't know if its true or not but the word is that the ucf staff does A LOT of negative recruiting and keep trying to sell to the recruits that they're getting into the acc or big east. but hey you got to do what you got to do i guess.

I don't, it was just amazing. Hell I was going to go over and congratulate you on getting Wilson but that really turned me off.

I guess they did not realize that many of the things that are happening @ UCF they are modelling from what we did when we was in C-USA as far as facilities.

While UCF didn't have as much $$$$ to spend on facilities as Louisville did...UCF's $300 Million Athletic Village investment (new 45,000 seat on-campus stadium, new 10,000 seat on-campus arena, 4 new dorms, with 2,000 individual bedrooms, more campus affiliated housing than other school in FLA, plus the Athletic Village retail complex), is slowly beginning to pay off.

Obviously, other improvements on campus have also helped, plus having a good message to sell (i.e. one of the most modern campuses in the nation, 3rd largest school in the country, centrally located in Orlando, FL...just 3-4 hours from South Florida, etc...) is finally having the impact many have hoped it would.

While success is not guaranteed by just adding new facilities...it most certainly has helped UCF "get in the game".

I knew what was going on at UCF. But we don't need any more "pick me!" advertisements. The conference isn't planning to expand, from any signs I've seen, none of us have any influence in the decision, and we're tired of such things. Don't turn this into an expansion thread...

If you banned Knight_Light (I believe that's in line with one of the "Warning" threads near the top) - you won't find many UCF fans that will blame you....

I think he has that "marketing brochure" for UCF saved on copy & paste....it's only been posted here, what? 50 times?

I have never had a man crush for any dude! However, I'm gaining a lot of coaching repect for Charlie Strong so far. He seems to be the real deal, but only wins and time will confirm all of this!

I think Strong will do fine in Louisville. He's definitely an upgrade...
