How many times?
have we had a potentially program-changing big man committed to us, only to see him slip away?

RE: How many times?
Neighbour
The transfer from Purdue, although he probably would not have been worth the risk.
Who knows if any of them would have been that good, but they were all higher-profile players that might have gotten us over the hump.

Funny. I thought about Neighbour, but I don't think of him as a big man.
I know he's 6'10", but I don't think he's a "back to the basket" type player. Maybe more like Shane Edwards, but a little taller. When I think of a big man, I think of a guy 6'9" or better, who posts up, and can power his way to the basket for easy goals. And there is still a slim chance Neighbour could end up here. Probably not likely, but possible.04-cheers
