That's a good hire. Who will Jones replace him with?

not sure who will be the OC at UC but i don't believe it would have been Quinn. If he didn't get one of the HC jobs, he was heading to South Bend.

Would wager that Jones has some staff that he'll bring from CMU.

Suppose a better question is who Kelly brings in to ND with the title of OC. Supposedly Quinn didn't have playcalling duties at UC, but was likely to follow Kelly to ND if he did not get a head coaching job.

That is an excellent hire by Buffalo. I'm sure Buffalo would like to drop their name into the BE expansion race. If they continue to grow they are a possibility if the FB schools split to form a 12 team all sports conference. They are in the conference footprint, they have better academics than any of the other expansion possibilities, and they represent a decent media market. They aren't ready for prime time yet, but they could be in 3-5 years when we are ready to expand. If we lose a team or two to the Big 10, they could definitely get a look.

I wouldn't mind a swap where Jones brings Danny Barrett back to his alma mater to be a part of the UC staff.
