"This group of players has been extremely conscientious in handling their academic responsibilities throughout the semester."

Good news.

Let me guess. UC will not want to renew the series. This is the 4th year of the contract and UC tried to get out of all 4 games. I think it's a safe bet we will not play these guys again unless it is a tourney. Kudos for UAB making UC honor their contract.

Time to send them to their future with a stinging sensation in the posterior. We have a good history with Cincinnati. Lots of tough games, big wins, and bitter losses. I'd love to see a beatdown just for that b.s. that Van Exel threw in years ago. What a sickening loss. Course I would take a Bristow-like tip at the buzzer too.

UC is a solid NCAA caliber team. It will take the biggest effort so far for the Blazers to get a win.

I found this monumentally disturbing:

Quote:Our preparations take a bit of a twist as well because we are not able to use Bartow Arena or Wallace Gym because of graduation set up and ceremonies. Thanks to Samford and Birmingham Southern for giving us access to their facilities for a couple of days so we could work on regulation size courts.

What other program loses access to all of its practice facilities FOR THREE DAYS because the university takes over everything for a graduation ceremony? That's just wrong.

The University of Michigan. They had to use the facilities at Eastern Michigan University a few years ago.
