New Bracketology on ESPN
We are still not listed as in the tournament but CUSA currently has 3 teams in the field. Could the tide be turning for our conference?? Davis said on the opening drive that he felt three teams could make the big dance from cusa. right now they have memphis, tulsa, and southern miss in the field.

...Southern Miss?
*Edit* He has USM in as the auto bid. I guess he is thinking tournament upset? That has to be the only way Lunardi thinks we get 3 in.
*Edit 2*
"Keep the receipt, exchanges are likely
Don't freak out about some strange inclusions in this field. Remember, most leagues have yet to begin conference play -- or have early-season ties -- and our rules require the best RPI team to become automatic qualifiers in those instances. This should explain the selection and/or seeding of William & Mary (CAA), Southern Miss (Conference USA), Nevada (WAC), Army (Patriot League) and Long Island (NEC). For what it's worth, I don't recall William & Mary or Army as ever having made it into Bracketology before, so hat's off to those schools."

USM's RPI will plummet between now and New Year's Day. The Golden Eagles have home games against La-La (199), UNO (296), Canisius (193), and North Florida (254).

USM is simply not very good. Not really sure what they've done so far to warrant the praise they are getting. They're good, but it's still USM basketball we're talking about.

I think they're being judged on the talent they are putting on the court. They have a lot of talented guys on that team. That doesn't make them good, IMO.

I dont think southern miss is going to make the tournament but my point was we are getting more respect with 2 and or 3 teams in the tournament.

Lunardi usually does an OK job, although he's not quite as adept as the prognosticators at the FN Bubble Watch®.
He probably said, "Aw, f*** me, Southern Piss has an RPI of 11, but that's only because Blue Mountain et al don't count."

85 you just made absolulely no sense. You say they are simply not good then say they're good.
Look this is the same type of stereo-typing that drives UAB fans nuts. I saw them play against Ole Miss and USA and they are a very good team.

He said they're not VERY good, but they're good. I won't be convinced about them until we reach conference play. Their wins are against LA-Lafayette, Montana State, South Alabama, and 3 D-II schools. BTW, LA-Lafayette lost to D-II Mobile.
