Yep, I love the grizzlies and all, but the NBA is NOT basketball anymore. There have to change the traveling violation back to two steps like it should be. Some of these guys take three steps from the 3 point line and they dont call crap. Drives me nuts.

no doubt

The Grizz, your MEMPHIS Grizzlies, played the best team in the NBA right to the wire.

Thanks to the mod who created and approved the NTR Sports board. It allows for some great discussion and banter.

Good game GRIZ!

The game kept me on the edge of my seat
(while I should have been studying more Biomechanics for tomorrow)

Great effort from the Grizz. Despite the loss, I come away from this game further impressed with the strides our team has made.

I agree that the refs in the NBA are a complete joke but I prefer watching NBA to college when it comes to one major area: flow of the game. NBA games flow much, much better than college games do. I have always felt that it is near impossible to maintain a flow of the game in college basketball because the teams have too many timeouts and especially because of the incessant and unnecessary "media timeouts" every 4 minutes of clock time. The games are broken down into four minute segments and it kills the flow and momentum of the game. College teams should have 1 fewer 30 second timeout and 1 less full timeout. Additionally, there should only be 2 media timeouts per half (one at the ten minute mark and one at the five minute mark). If I was NCAA comissioner, this would be an immediate change.

There are very, very few teams in the NBA playing as well as the Memphis Grizzlies are lately.

Ray Allen of the Boston Celtics was the dagger to the heart of the Memphis Grizzlies last night. He made a three pointer from the end of the clock last night with less than twenty seconds to go.

That was not only the bad no calls during the game, the worst one to me was when Ray Allen elbowed Rudy Gay in his back and the jump stop of the Celtics made during the game. I saw a coupe of other bad calls during the game by the National Basketball Association referees. I am not saying the Grizz would have won the game if iwas called, I just wish it was called evenly on both sides.
