Its a perfectly logical progression, the only thing that possibly goes together better than great music and great beer is great football and great beer.

And it really is a travesty that Pink Floyd hasnt been brought up in this thread yet.

well the beatles, the stones, michael jackson, stevie, miles davis, etc. haven't been mentioned either. I'm sure there are hundreds of albums that people would mention if they wanted

Pink Floyd is on a completely different level though.

Im not tryng to make the argument that they are better than the Beatles or anything like that, they are just in their own category.

Nah, actually Nirvana is probably my favorite but Pink Floyd is definitely up there.

Dark Side of the Moon was the last Pink Floyd album made with Alan Parsons as the studio engineer. I also think it's their best...

Haha, now it's "swoosh my man?" Music brings people together. I love Who's Next, but oftentimes i find myself liking Quadrophenia even more. it's really an amazing composition by Pete Townshend. And "The Real Me" has some absolutely amazing bass playing by Entwistle.
