TOWSON, Md. - The Tigers didn't have an answer for Hofstra's inside game led by 6-9 forward Miklos Szabo who scored a career high 22 points on 11 of 14 shooting to lead the Pride to an 84-64 victory over Towson in the Colonial Athletic Association opener for both teams Saturday afternoon.

"Hofstra was well prepared for us," said Tiger head coach Pat Kennedy. "The things that we wanted to try to do they countered and took us out of. Then it became a snowball effect. We did not play well individually or collectively."
