This team has some grit
I can't wait to see what we'll accomplish down the road with these players. Winning two games in overtime on the road is impressive no matter who you play....and especially with such a young team.

No doubt, curious that both these games were similar in how they played out, big lead early, tied late with a late three, win it OT. Very impressed with how the Freshmen handled the late game situation. Free throws made the difference today. I hope Campbell's absence isn't a serious issue as we could sure use him.

Lip lost! always positive. KSU was insane from 3.

I agree with you. One thing I hope we improve is our tenacity when we have the lead. We seem to get too comfortable when we jump out to a lead.

One thing that really impressed me was in the OT win against Mercer, Kerron had 6 and Ian had 7 in the overtime. Two true freshman went out and won us the game in OT and showed that they want the ball in their hands during crunch time. Also, we won these 2 OT games with only 2 upperclassmen suited out. As the season progresses and this team continues to mesh, we have serious potential to do some damage in the conference tournament. We are a very young team that will continue growing and the next few seasons at Belmont should be pretty exciting.

Also, it seems like Drew has finally settled in a little more to his role as a distributor... this weekend he had 13 assists with 0 turnovers!

I was going to post the same about Hanlen. Amazing weekend of handling the ball in a split time situation.
