I reall don't know what to think about our game
last night. I was impressed with Mo State. Very well coached, and they have a variety of players who fill every role. That's what's killing us right now. None of our inside players have shown that killer instinct on defense. Stuffing shots back into players faces and killing on the boards. Our only hope there seems to be Montrelle. Other have not seemed to have those qualities.

I have to think that playing three games in five days, all competitive games, had to do something with the way we played. Our kids played as hard as they could, but probably a little mentally tired at this point, and give credit to Mo State, they were very good.

Might be the only game you'll ever see where Solo and III have a combined 2 points in the first half and well into the second half.
But they came back some and didn't give up. I have been disappointed in some early games, but not this one. We just got beat by a better team. Will we be as good as Mo State by the end of the season? No way. But we'll be good enough to be competitive in our league, IMO.04-cheers

I thought both had goose eggs in the scoring column at halftime.

You might be right. I thought Solo had hit two free throws, but that could have been early in the second half. Either way, that won't happen very often. Maybe never again.01-lauramac2
