Dr Flamer's posts got me thinking.

The MAC is being held back because of Temple football. Temple gets almost no TV coverage and is mediocre in attendance within the MAC. The MAC saved Temple football at it's own expense. What value has Temple delivered? Nothing and has only cost the original 12 members. Temple has benefitted, the MAC overall has not.

Drop Temple. Let the contract expire in 2010 and let Temple go on their own way. Becasue Temple will not move all of their sports into the MAC. And 13 teams is too weird.
