RE: Good take from FWG on Cincy and Kelly
i totally respect Randy Edsall and what he has done at UCONN, and a big part of that respect is that he's stayed loyal to the school, players and fans by staying and building something.
it would indeed be good for the league if Kelly stays at UC.
I really really hate this kind of thing. WVU fans have been through it in both FB and BB. It's really hard to enjoy an incredibly successful season as a fan when the cloud of your coach possibly leaving is hanging over the discussion. I wish coaches, if they really have no intention of leaving, would just come out early and put a damper on the speculation (although these days nobody really believes them when they do, so i guess it's kinda pointless...)
But i feel for UC fans over this - i hope you guys can enjoy your great season and not worry about what happens afterward.

We are getting used to it. First it was Michigan after Kelly's first season. Then last year it was Notre Dame, Tennessee, and Washington. As more jobs come open this year it will happen some more. I will not be happy if he leaves, but I will undertand the decision. I will also not be as pissed off as I was when Dantonio left.
