It seems Notre Dame has blocked their private jet from being tracked.

Looks like they're learning. If that isn't a sign that a coaching change is coming, I don't know what is.

Are you sure it hasn't been blocked for a long time?

Don't know...I just posted this because I saw an article about it on Deadspin and I fully believe Brian Kelley will be the next ND head coach.

I just don't see it happening with ND... I think that his views on abortion (pro-choice) and some baggage he has from CMU (player murder) will kill his chances. You never know, however...

The Letter to the Editor link just slayed me! I would've expected a paper in, say, Utah or Mississippi to publish that letter, but not the major newspaper in Cincinnati. It's all entertainment for us, though.

Ha... you don't know suburban Cincinnati that well. It's a great place to live with a lot of very nice people...but it's not exactly known for its open mindedness. No surprise from me on that letter.

Oh, I know that Cincinnati is a bit more conservative than a lot of large cities, but most newspaper editors are of a different political persuasion. I'm not surprised that there are people in the Cincinnati area (or anywhere else) that think that way - it's just unusual to me that the newspaper actually went ahead and published that stuff.

Cincy is no more or less conservative (or liberal for that matter) than Indy, Nashville, Chicago, Columbus, St. Louis, KC, Grand Rapids etc. All depends on what neighborhood or part of town you live in.

I did notice 2 private planes that landed at Lunken this morning, one from S. Bend Regional and the other owned by Univ. of Illinois. However BK said this morning that ND has not contacted him or a 3rd party representing him.

What Kelly says doesn't neccessarily mean it's the truth. If a coach is considering another position, he'll deny it right up until the point he accepts the job. It wouldn't be the first time this has happened...

I've got a source telling me that there was an old woman walking around outside McMicken Hall earlier today in a Notre Dame jacket. My source is pretty solid. Perhaps I'll start a new thread about it since it makes almost as much sense as whatever this thread is about. Done deal!!!!111!!1

Just because she's wearing a Notre Dame jacket, it doesn't mean she's from Notre Dame. I've got one myself. But it was a gift, and I never wear it because I hate the Irish...

RR had no rumors surrounding him until he showed up at the press conference in Ann Arbor shortly after leading the Mountaineers to a failure of monumental proportions against Pitt, with a national championship berth on the line. He was talking to Michigan behind everyone's back, and it wasn't public until after the fact...

So have many others, mlb. If you look for them, you'll find about 20 examples within a minute or so...
