Medium Mike really looked good last night.
He just moves so much better at his current weight, and looks great.
He could possibly have an all conference season, as could Solo, but I'd like Solo to show more team oriented play, whether he's playing the point or the two guard. I see our team working on those passing drills in practice (well, I used to when practices weren't closed), making quick passes around a circle, but when we get into a game, we never seem to make those quick passes to get folks open. What's the point of the drills if we never utilize the skill in the games?

I agree they both looked very good. But, to be realistic I don't put much more weight on a game against a DII team than I do against an intrasquad scrimmage. We often look good playing against ourselves. Svelte Mike is in his six year out of high school (one year at prep, one at Ole Miss, one redshirt season here, 3rd seasons playing here)- he should look good against a DII team at this point.
