From what I heard Cutcliffe accepted the job then was told that he couldn't bring his own assistents. Lane Kiffin really screwed Tennessee when they hired him. Just read the article below.

I don't know if 23 is more than normal, or if it's just the number of higher profile jobs and drama surrounding them that made it seem that way.
