Democrat - really frustrating
I am not going to subscribe to a Little Rock paper. But I do buy papers when there are articles I want to read - like the one about the team this weekend. But of course it wasn't there in the NW edition.

No thanks. I'm not going to pay a subscription just to read one article.

Hey. We made the front page of the sports section. How many times does that happen? Probably not when we win. Only when we lose. I'm not really paranoid. But is it my imagination that we're normally way back in the paper when we win a game?03-banghead

I suspect the writers would ask you to reconsider. It's their livelyhood.

Good point Scotto. Everybody likes getting something for nothing, but somebody has to pay Jeffrey to create the articles for us to read.

I'm not complaining about them charging for their product. Obviously they must. I'm complaining about the articles not being in the NW version. Wishful thinking, obviously.

You get frustrated because an article about UALR is not the edition that is located in the backyard of the Razorbacks???

That's not wishful. That's insane.

Well, it's odd, because sometimes our articles are in the NW edition. It is hit and miss. Enough to keep me buying papers on wishful thinking.

I think that Scotto's suggestion about signing up for the online edition is your answer. Then you get the Central Arkansas edition (and the NW Arkansas edition).

Just subscribe to the sunday print edition and then you are eligible to sign on to the online edition and see the whole paper everyday -- all editions. That's what I do. I get to have a sunday paper - coupons, ads, comics and all -- and online acces to the rest. If you dont want the physical paper, just get an online-only subscription. Just think of it as a way to compensate Jeff Slatton for the great job he does.

That's what I do too. Sunday only (good for the environment, too). I read the on-line edition daily. I get the UALR article, plus all those great Razorback articles. :)
