Navy wins 23-21 - NO BCS for ND losing to what now appears to be an average Michigan and USC teams and a pretty good Navy team.

Head Football Coach of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Charlie Weis will be probably gone at the end of the this year. I do not know how much of the alumni can stand losing to Navy two years in a row.

They beat Navy last year. They've lost two in a row to them at home.

That is a team that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football should beat each year in my humble opinion. With Jimmy Clausen and Golden Tate each probably going to the National Football League in this April, head football coach Charile Weis might see his career at the coach go right through his hands.

I know seeing someting unusual is sometimes so hard to stop in you only see once a year, but for me that is hard to believe. I guess any slight BCS chances went away with that loss this past Saturday.

Didn't see the game as I was in Knoxville and felt ND should win this one with Floyd back but without Allen at RB. Navy runs that option very well and its hard to stop but ND see's it every year and should have the guys prepped for that. Again a huge rushing day for the Midshipman with very little from ND and 3 turnovers. Got to hang on to the ball to win. Will have to see if I can find a replay as the DVR didn't get programmed....

triple option exposes one bad thing in your defensive line lazy tackles. Unblocked 3 technique on the midline play has to hit the full back everytime when you get lazy is gashes you the full back gashed ND all day

If you rally want to see the replay, go to www.hulu.com/notre-dame (they have all ND games available, no commercials). But after sitting through the UT game, you may want to check with your personal physician before watching ND as well. ND offense did move the ball with 512 yards total, but broke down inside the 10 ydl 5 or 6 times. The JC fumble was at the 1 ydl on a big hit (I did not think he was getting up) and the interception was at the 1 ydl, ball bounced off Floyds back to defender (Floyd missed a signal and was blocking for what he thought was a screen). And the defense was, well, clueless. Mistakes and execution cost ND the win, but Navy played a very good game.
