Honestly. You seriously believe TCU would not absolutely demolish the majority of the Big East? Maybe not Cincy, but everyone else? Honestly?
You honestly believe this? Alright buddy.

TCU has a very good team, BUT do I think they would "DEMOLISH" most Big East teams? Nope.
TCU would be for a tough match vs Cincy, WV, Pitt and USF. I think that a healthy UConn would have the defense to also keep it close.
TCU struggled to beat Air Force and ALL those BE teams are better than the Falcons and the best team in my eyes that they have beaten is Clemson by 4 and all those BE teams could play with Clemson.

What I am saying is, I want BSU to play tougher teams week in week out. Its one thing to get up for one or one game a year but quite different when you play 6-8 tough games a year. BSU plays no one and is rewarded for it.... that is bullcrap. Another reason why we need computers to do all the rankings.
and no I don't believe BSU could 'demolish' the BE accept for Cincy. There are 3 other teams possibly a fourth who are even par with bsu.

So do they, but they are a relatively new FBS program, and they can't really help which conference they play in.
This game is going to be held against them, while nobody really cares that Florida barely beat Arkansas or Cincy had close calls with Oregon State & Fresno State (who Boise beat soundly).
I personally believe that Boise State would lose 2-3 games this year if they played in the MWC, and maybe more if they were in any AQ conference. But they are playing a perfect hand with the cards they were dealt, and that is all that should matter. I'm willing to bet that after this 'close call', Oregon will leap frogduck them in the BCS standings, proving that the old notion 'a playoff would cheapen the regular season' is a steaming pile of BS.

Here is a question for the guy who said BSU would demolish the BE.
Would you agree if BSU loses even one game they would drop like a stone in the rankings?
There margin of error is razor thin. This LA Tech game is going to cost them a few spots even tho' they won.

I agree with you that they probably have atough time scheduling better OCC opponents. But if you play in the WAC and you hope to be taken seriously in NC discussions you must do whatever it takes to play better OCC, even if that means no return trips.
By the way dont come telling me that LATech at 3-6 with wins over Hawaii,NMST and a 1AA is comparable to Oregon State, Arkansas or even Fresno.
Boise has a good team but would probably finish 3rd-4rth in any of the BCS conferences or MWC.

That's not the point; the point is a narrow win over an unranked opponent hurts Boise more than anyone else, that's all.

They are behind us BJ but I'm tired of the media pundits mentioning our name with them and TCU like they usually do. Somehow, despite our BCS affiliation we are viewed as "bcs crashers" still and it chaps me.
Granted, we are "new" to bcs stuff but come on....so I was hoping they would lose or at least barely beat a lame team like latech so it will be one less bcs buster we get compared to.......

The funny thing is, it seems to me like Louisville sometimes got more respect when they were in C-USA than Cincinnati gets now.
