I agree with you that they probably have atough time scheduling better OCC opponents. But if you play in the WAC and you hope to be taken seriously in NC discussions you must do whatever it takes to play better OCC, even if that means no return trips.

By the way dont come telling me that LATech at 3-6 with wins over Hawaii,NMST and a 1AA is comparable to Oregon State, Arkansas or even Fresno.
Boise has a good team but would probably finish 3rd-4rth in any of the BCS conferences or MWC.

Actually, Boise is willing to play BCS opponents without a return trip and right now, they can't get any BCS team to agree to play them in 2011 - even with ESPN trying to help them broker a deal so that the game can be televised. It's all well and good to state that Boise or any other non-AQ team should have a challenging OOC schedule, but they can't do that unless AQ teams are willing to schedule them. Boise may have crossed the threshold to the point where they're too successful for thier own good. We used to have this problem at UofL but we figured out how to get rid of it.

You hire Steve Kragthorpe.

By the time he gets done with us, we'll be on every team's schedule, as a homecoming opponent.

I also think people need to lay off Boise State. They are doing the best they can with the hand they have been dealt. Boise State went out a scheduled the only BCS team that would give them a fair deal the last two years, Oregon, and waxed the Ducks both times. They beat Oregon State in the couple of years preceding that series. And surely no one has forgotten what Boise State did to mighty Oklahoma in 2006.

I agree that Boise State may have become too successful for their own good. Now they can't even get teams to give them a one-and-done. Ridiculous. Nor can Boise State simply join another conference as many message board idiots like posting on Rivals and elsewhere. They have to be invited and nobody is interested at this time. Don't forget, also, that WAC teams know Boise State best and always play them close.

Would you agree if BSU loses even one game they would drop like a stone in the rankings?

There margin of error is razor thin. This LA Tech game is going to cost them a few spots even tho' they won.

Where did I say BSU would demolish the BE?

You said TCU would demolish the majority of Big East teams outside of Cincy and that is also INCORRECT. TCU would be in for a big battle vs Cincy, Pitt, USF and WV , thats half the Big East

and thats fine. But look carefully at TCU's opponents. The have faced THREE teams with current winning records
BYU 6-2
Clemson 5-3
Air Force 5-4

They beat Clemson by 3, Air Force by 4. BYU is the only one they blew away and I think we all know that BYU is overrated. Remember the FSU blow out?

So from those scores there is no indication that TCU would blow`away Pitt,USF, WV nor Cinncinati.
