all the money on spent on payroll and NY is still turning a larger profit than most, if not all, of the teams in MLB and propping up the low budgets.

I'm done w/ this thread and maybe even this board except for reading the occasional recruiting news.

My final thought --- Cashman's quote said it best "Call the Yankees anything you want to call them, but you have to call them World Champions". NYY got the last laugh- and its always the loudest!

goodbye
The New York Yankees won their 27th World Series and congratualtions to your favorite team, man. But get a life, man and good riddance. I am tired of listening the Yankees are the best thing in the world, that gets old real quick, even if you support that team.

Congratulations to the New York Yankees for winning the world series. They were deserving of the title. Yes, the Yankees have a huge payroll compared to the rest of MLB, but you do have to admire the way they run their organization. From an outsiders perspective, it looks first class all the way.

Which is more than I can say for you, MemphisTiger15. I sincerely hope you don't represent the Memphis Tigers on other sports message boards the way you have represented the Yankees on this board. If so, you have done all Tiger fans a disservice.
