Probable lineup for tomorrow night.

Trey Finn 6-2 205 G
Rashad Allison 6-1 175 PG
Donald Boone 6-4 205 G
JeJuan Brown 6-7 225 F
Martavius Adams 6-8 255 F

Daniel Bryant, Brandon Reed, Brandon Peterson, Adam Sterrenberg and Justin Butler should all play a lot.

We will actually look like a team this season compared to last season. I watched practice the other day and Brady chewed them out before practice started because he didn't like the way they were bragging to each other about how good they were. 04-bow

Boone as you may remember started out on fire last season but, he was about it from outside and started forcing things and was being guarded a lot tougher. He should have some help this year.

Adams gives us the first legit big man we've had in a while and he can shoot better away from the basket than right underneath it.

Finn has lost about 30 pounds and looked pretty good early in practice.

Brown never really impressed me to much last season except on occasions but, to be honest with you he had no competition and this year he does.

Allison is a juco point guard that should really make us better just because we have a point guard, last season not much of one.

Daniel Bryant really is a nice player, walk on last season but, to be honest with you, he plays at another speed than the rest of our team did last season. He will play a lot.

Reed could make a run for freshman of the year. This kid can play.

Peterson and Butler give us some good size inside Peterson is just a freshman .

I would be shocked if we ended up 6th as we were picked, I think we will be in the top three for sure. If I think about it, i will let you know about our scrimmage game tomorrow night.

Sounds like we could have our hands full with the Wolves this year. Of course, we may have problems with everything this year. Remains to be seen.

Tonights game ASU 81-60 over Henderson State. We played 10 players. Two were out with injuries. Finn had 8 points 6 assists 0 turnovers. Bryant had 19 off the bench. Boone had 10 points in 15 minutes nursing an injury. The new recruits are going to be fun to watch.

Freshman
Finn 8 points, 6 assists 0 turnovers He didn't shoot well from outside tonight but, he's been the best shooter during the practice.

Reed had five points. Brady said he was so nervous his hand was shaking.

Peterson 10 points, 8 rebounds, 7 blocks

Thoughts , this team is much quicker and bigger than in the past. Adams the big guy didn't ever seem to get into the flow of the game but, Peterson the Freshman may be the best true Freshman to play for us in a long time. bryant plays at another level as does Reed. To be honest with you we played best tonight when we had three freshman, 1 sophomore and ! senior that seldom plays. I don't know how long it will take but, teams better beat us this year because if everyone stays here and stays eligible the next couple of years will be fun for ASU.

Definitely sounds like it. Best of luck this season, except, of course, when you're playing us!

I'm hoping for two good close wins for ASU and meet UALR in the finals of the tourney with another close ASU win. Too be honest this team will be fun to watch but, I'm not sure they are mature enough to threaten to win this year but, you never know.

Look forward to our games. Good luck to you guys as well except when our teams play.

What's wrong with a little love?

Good luck this week, except of course, when you play the Cajuns.

Don't know, but since you are asking I will assume the piggies won. Pigs don't say a word when they lose.

Sorry, I misunderstood you. We lost 21-18. Played terrible for 3 quarters. We were down 21-3 going into the 4th. Had the ball with 2:50 seconds and had driven to the 40 and they made a pick apparently controlling the ball as going out of bounds. Anyway, Aplin came in late in the 3rd and did an outstanding job for the team but, he came up a little short.

Fans are up in the air and most think it's time for a change. It's been a very frustrating year. Losses outstide of the game to nebraska have been by 8,6,3,3,3,

It's such a small difference in a great season and a bad one. Our basketball team was 9-1 last season in games decided by 5 points or less. Just think if it had gone the other way. That's the difference in good teams and bad. Normally nobody wins every game by a large margin, no matter how good the team (Florida, for example). There will always be games where it's relatively close, but the good teams win those games. I guess fans always are ready for a coaching change when things don't go right. What most need in most cases, is a player change.01-lauramac2
