I think Illinois State didn't prove it was one of best 65 teams last year. Wins over teams you should beat won't get you in like it does at BCS schools. You have to go out and beat those teams.

Not knocking Illinois State, but no one can deny they didn't play a tough schedule. He is teaching his players how to win, and I can understand that, but the Valley doesn't have any room for error when it comes to scheduling, and each team may only have 2 or 3 chances to prove it belongs. But if you don't schedule those opportunities, then you can't prove you belong.
