USF getting close to selling out 65K seat RJS for Cincy
More than 58K have been sold so far, with more that 60K expected. Will be close to capacity with a good walk up crowd tomorrow.

Bulls projecting crowd of 60,000-plus for Cincy
A busy week promoting Thursday's showdown between No. 21 USF and No. 8 Cincinnati has paid off, as USF said Wednesday night that it's projecting a crowd of more than 60,000 for the game.

USF's release stated that approximately 58,000 tickets have been distributed, with tickets still available for as little as $10. That should give the Bulls the third-largest home crowd in the program's 13-year history, trailing only its two sellouts, against West Virginia and Central Florida in 2007. Entering the game, the third-best crowd at Raymond James Stadium was the 58,755 announced for the USF-Kansas game last season.

RE: USF getting close to selling out 65K seat RJS for Cincy
I think the game will be a hard sellout...as the $5 and $10 tickets have been selling at a very fast past this week and I think the rest of the fan base gobbles them up today prior to game time.

When its cheaper to go to a BCS Football Game between two Top 25 teams than it is to see a bad movie...one knows a good deal when they see one...and this is it.

Am I reading this right...$5 to watch two Top 25 BCS teams...conference foes, no less...play a nationally televised game in a pro stadium in the state of Florida?

That's a deal. I don't care who you cheer for, if you are in the area and a football fan of any sort, I don't see how you pass that up.

I think the cheapest tickets are $10, and they are in the upper reaches of the upper deck. I think normal upper deck tickets are 35 dollars.

you're right 10 dollar tickets are limited and only for the corners of the upper deck. they're also for students who couldn't get one of the 12,501 regular student tickets. regular upper deck tickets are still 35 dollars and the lower bowl tickets are more expensive but vary in their price range.

Yeah...today the cheapest tix is $10...but for the past 2 weeks they had special $5 ticket promotion through Budweiser...and believe they are now all gone.

Also, another top seller was their $50 3 game pack with pretty good seats...which included the Cinci Game, WVU game and the Miami (FL) game.

Hopefully these two will put on a better show for the nation than Boise did last night.

the conference could really use an exciting game with scoring somewhere in the 20s or low 30s... not so much scoring that it looks like no D, but it cant be a boring game, because that will just give the media ammo to say both teams were overrated, a really excited crowd will help too, which i think we will deliver... i know ill be loud in the north endzone (student section)

here is to the bulls winning a thriller, 31-27

This is exactly what the Big East needed! Two ranked, high power teams on a Thursday night when the entire nation will be watching. Obviously I'm rooting for the Cats but this is huge for not only both schools but also the Big East conference.

Go Cats!

Well... game 1 of the NLCS between the Dodgers and Phillies is on tonight, too. I think the ratings will be reasonable, but not off the charts.

Here's my stance coming from the NY Area, Go Dodgers and I'll be watching USF - Cincy tonight. I'm a Mets fan to the death and in no way do I want the Phillies winning the pennant yet again.
