This week end really stunk!
No NIU football.
No Chicago Bear Football.
No ND football.
I was able to complete too many "honey due" projects.
Only excitement was son's HS soccer team beat a good team on Saturday
Bartlett 4 - WWS - 0
Also, WWS parents were the biggest cry babies I have seen this year.

Any weekend without ND football is a GREAT weekend. There was actually slightly less than the normal 5 pages of ND coverage in the sports sections this weekend.

Don't hate the whole University because of the majority of the fans being erogant idiots. Grew up watching ND football on WGN in Chicago plus my HS was associated with the University.

RE: This week end really stunk!
I could care less about the fans.
What I care about is their ridiculous inclusion in the BCS, even though they play a soft schedule and refuse to join a conference. Getting into bowl games they don't deserve to be in and subsequently getting blown out in them because of it, that bothers me. Complaining about their low ranking even though they've played no one, that bothers me. The sense of entitlement that because at one time in history they were good, the teams today should be considered good even though they've done nothing, that's what bothers me.
Have some pride, grow a pair and play a real schedule, earn your bowl berth. Then I'll respect the school. What they did in the past is great, but it doesn't mean they should be given anything now that they don't earn on the field.

Well if it's a majority, that's a good reason to not like something. I grew up liking ND football for the same reason. Grew up watching it and my dad and others liked them. What high school?
