possible, although i dont think they did much of any blueprint work. anything else though (books, magazines, catalogs, direct mail, point of purchase displays, packaging, large format, etc) they have a huge hand in.

Dont worry, if you had graduated earlier you would have just been laid off after 2 years like me
when i graduated in 2003, it was a crappy market to look for a job in...now, laid off in 2009 again with a crappy job market to look in.
miserable....
what field are you in?
I graduated in '03 as well, although I didnt have trouble finding work (or I just got lucky). I worked for a print outsourcing firm, managing supplier relations.

I project manage, from the client side, civil engineering projects done by design firms. We may have crossed paths at some time as well.

We very well could have. I've project managed on the MEP engineering side, and have worked with a few civil engineers.

ugh. Tell me about it. Graduated in May with a Marketing degree. Reasonable GPA, some experience, plenty of good references, and I do really well in interviews.
I'm lucky to get 1 interview a week and I'm doing better than most people I know.
jk. Got a job today. Time for the HASF to get a call from me

Also, the statistics mentioned in that article are ridiculous. They're counting 16 year olds? How many high school kids do you know that keep a steady job?

Don't you mean "Socialist indoctrination specialist"?
Btw, one of the problems for 16-20 year olds is that adults are taking the part time retail jobs because they were out of work(or just needed extra money to pay for their mortgage) so the usual jobs available for them aren't there, thus a high unemployment rate.
"Al Angrisani, the former assistant Labor Department secretary under President Reagan, doesn't see a turnaround in the jobs picture for entry-level workers and places the blame squarely on the Obama administration and the construction of its stimulus bill." Now that is a shock. A Republican blaming Obama for all that is wrong with this country.

The question is... now what?
What must be done to create jobs?
Thats easy. Tax breaks for the rich.

I hate to tell you not to give to HASF BUT you really should put away some money first. Even though you just started, you never know what will happen a few months down the road. You could possibly lose your job and socialist unemployment compensation is generally not very much and might need the savings.

Robert:
I value your opinion because I think many share your views. I think you'd agree...we are out of money. We can continue printing money wildly, but the US $ is already devalued. Inflation, or even worse stagflation, is a possibility. The top 10% already pay over 71% of the Federal personal income taxes.

Unemployment is rather high.
The government gets its revenue primarily from corporate and personal income taxes, correct?
Both are struggling mightily. For the sake of argument, it is all the Republicans fault. You now control the presidency and both houses of Congress now...what will you do?

My niece who graduated from ISU in Educ ( Social Studies) in 08 continues seeking in NiL. a FT teaching position 14 months after graduation. She continues subbing and coaching gymnatics at a club and will soon be asst coach- HS gymnastics in W burbs next month - but no teaching job.
Only those few with teaching credentials in fields with high demand- BD/LD , special educ, math-sci and tech and are also bilingual are highly sought after and hired first.

My daughter in completing a cosmotology degree program at community college. Despite the recession that is an industry that is still growing. Women seem to have the $ to spend on making themselves look good.
Other vocations I can see growth in are dental hygiene (need only a 2 year degree for a position that pays well) and an optomistrist technician which doesn't involve much formal education.

The poor can't receive a tax break since they don't pay taxes...
And, how many poor guys have you worked for? That is why tax breaks for the "rich" work and create jobs.

You need to read better. RobertN is making fun(as usual) to tax breaks for the rich. The Rich create jobs not the RobertN's of the world. Tax breaks create jobs RobertN does not agree with that statement.
