Ole Miss @ South Carolina
Anyone watching this game? I have been a USC fan for the last year or two, pretty much just watch them whenever it's nationally televised. Anyway, Eric Norwood really reminds me of Larry English. He's got a motor on him that doesn't stop. Plays DE and LB and has the USC record for career sacks.

On that note, who has the NIU record for career sacks?

Looks like Ole Miss is still in it. I dozed off after that 6-3 first half shootout. I'm kind of a Rebel fan because I've read 2 books about them (Bruce Feldman's Meat Market & Michael Lewis' The Blind Side)

USC was 1-32 vs top 5 opponents...sound familiar to a win we recently had?

Hahaha yep. Now we are 2-32-1 against Big 10 opponents.

At least we have that tie in there. Care to guess who that was to?

I'm probably too young to have any shot. Wisconsin?

Also, if NIU's DL played like USC's, our team would be unstoppable.

16-16 against Northwestern in '87

And yes, lets hope that Progar, Baxter & Lawson will grow up to be stellar on the DL.

I actually thought Northwestern but figured if that was the case it would've been a game 30+ years ago when most schools played other schools in close proximity to them.

Purdue was not exactly a top 5 opponent.

I would bet that even teams in the top 5 have losing records vs top 5 opponents.

I was referring to our record against big ten teams...
