tell those stiffs in engineering to hand over the dough!!! We need an expanded Nippert and practice fields...the school will reap more $$$$ in the long run!!!!

all joking aside....it's tough right now because as Dan Hoard recently said in his latest Heard if From Hoard....we've had fund drive after fund drive without any breaks.....Master Plan, Varsity Village, Proudly Cincinnati....UC has asked us (the public) to give a lot of money in the past x amount of years and it does create donor fatigue as they say.....so I know many are "alarmed" about not having the funds "rolling in" right now, you gotta see if from a bigger picture and the big picture is, UC has had their hand out (for great causes mind you) constantly in the past 10 years or so give or take....

Having said that, I'm confidend we can raise the money for the Jefferson Ave project...I'm more concerned about the Nippert Expansion really...

BJ - would not be surprised if extra Nippert expansion study costs are rolled into that number since the same company is tackling the project.

rath i thought they just had article on this in enquirer within last week. i will try to find and post, but i think they added 91 mil this year and are just under 600 million.

50Cent - I remembered seeing this also -

The University of Cincinnati Foundation raised $91.3 million in the fiscal year ended June 30 and has now raised $522.7 million toward a $1 billion goal for its capital campaign.

With 32,600 donors contributing, it was the fourth-best fundraising year in UC's history although still well below the record $160 million the previous year.
