NORFOLK, Va. – It may only be the fall, but the Virginia Commonwealth University tennis squads are in mid-season form as both programs dominated this past weekend’s Monarch Collegiate Invitational.

Freshman Krisztin Krocsko (Budapest, Hungary) of the men’s team and senior Olena Leonchuk (Kiev, Ukraine) of the women’s team each picked up the individual titles on the weekend.

Out of the eight semi-final spots in the individual tournaments, the Rams grabbed seven of them, including all four on the women’s side.
