Zimpher snaring UC talent away
Zimpher nabs UC official

Former University of Cincinnati President Nancy Zimpher has recruited her first high-level UC official to the State University of New York.

Zimpher left Cincinnati in May to become SUNY chancellor and has now hired Mitch Leventhal, vice provost for International Affairs at UC, as vice chancellor for Global Affairs at SUNY.

Leventhal will develop SUNY's system-wide global academic strategy and represent the system in a center to be developed in New York City.

RE: Zimpher snaring UC talent away
I'm suprised there isn't something in her employment agreement that prevents this.

I suspect she doesn't subscribe to the "once a Bearcat, always a Bearcat" axiom.
