Insert Southern California, Marshall, or any school you wish as Team X. It makes absolutely no difference.

Is ETSU even a college anymore? If you can't get THAT!!!

I got your point Pitt you might consider getting mine. I am saying that unless you get a group of powerful enough fans, it doesn't matter if they are satisfied with the program or not. I don't see a group powerful enough to change the fact that there is no football at ETSU so I am choosing to accept and enjoy what they do have.

You want ETSU to be Team X and add football and become a FCS powerhouse. An good goal but you don't have the power to do it. So instead the majority of people like you on the board ***** and moan about the gold old days and distract from any positive accomplishments that are there.

I agree, how dare we demand that ETSU try and get better. In fact how dare we ask that things get back to at least as good as they used to be. Take whatever Stanton and Mullins and chooses to give us and be grateful. WHACK, Thank You Sir, may I have another? Great mentality there Kingsport.

Rod,

I didn't say that. I said either get a group of donors together that have the power to change it or then accept the situation and try to grow within the confines of what we have.

All of the complaining on this board won't do a thing unless you can get money for the program. Even if the school lets football be operated at a lose you still need a significant amount of money to run the program at that level.

Your mentality is the one that needs adjusting since you are struggling to see reality.

Again, the problem is that Dr. Stanton is blocking all attempts
to raise money for football. Plain and simple. We will not know what can be done until someone is put in place that wants to do it. Period.
