The point of discussion was whether or not multiple DI coaches came to the Arby's tournament to scout talent. You stated you only knew of 1. Evidence was presented (and I seem to remember multiple news accounts also) that there have been several. We had not been discussing the quality of the tournament. But then you bring that in to distract from being shown wrong on the original point. It's a common tactic of yours, as Shaw and others have pointed out in the past.

Fine. Because Bruce Pearl wanted to solidify a commitment by watching a player he had a verbal commitment from and once the Marquette showed up, along with DeChellis and the assistant from Charleston Southern that proves the Arby's Classic is a mecca for spotting prominent college coaches!
I don't know. THAT sounds like spin to me.

No, it doesn't prove it's a mecca for recruiting. And I'm pretty sure there have been many more coaches there in attendance that we likely didn't even know about, or remember, esp. assistants.
How can trying to be factual about coaches who've attended be spin?
It *does* seem to indicate that there have been a lot more than the one assistant coach you referred to.
But thank you for the "fine". We'll take that as at least an acquiescence from you........

Ten years of false personal attacks on me because he doesn't like the truth if it doesn't fit in with his opinions, and he thinks he's won something because I was giving him condescending sarcasm.

I've got ESPN insider; here you go:
Zach Garland | C
Hometown Jonesborough, TN
High School David Crockett High School
Position rank Center # 44
Height 6'11"
Status
Undeclared
Scouts Grade
83
Considering: No schools at this time.
Evaluation
November, 2009: The definition of raw is the play of this lanky youngster with the size 22 shoe. Zach made such improvement in just the summer months it behooves everyone to keep a close eye on his continued maturation. He seemed to get better each and every game, as he was exposed to a higher level of athlete and skill level this summer. His hands, once questionable, have improved and he will finish with a flush more often than not. He can run the floor and with extensive foot work and drill preparation could certainly be someone whose stock rises at a mercurial level.
