Rich just forwarded yet another email to me from Shelli Cunningham demanding to know my relationship with her husband. She's been emailing me all summer. I've really had about all I can take of crazy these last couple months.

I've never met, or talked to, or know this guy. I guess his name is Todd. I know he runs BCL. He's emailed me a couple times but I have never responded except to turn down his free membership offer to BCL. I wouldn't know Todd if he came up and punched me in the face. But this crazy b*tch seems to think we have something going on because she keeps emailing me accusing me of stuff and I've just ignored her crazy rants until now and now unfortunately she's leaving him because of this and thought it necessary to let me know everything she could about him (Maybe to discourage an imaginary relationship) and 'it doesn't matter if you guys had something going on or not because I'm leaving him. I just want to know. I deserve it'.

I've blocked her email addresses- she just gets new ones. I'm honestly scared that she'll find out where I live or something. She's obviously not all there mentally because she has fabricated an entire relationship. I was hoping if I never responded to her that she'd think she had the wrong email address and stop. But now she's emailing others so I guess that didn't work.

Advice? Keep doing what I'm doing? Contact this Todd person? Write her back and diffuse the situation. I honestly don't even want to do that because I don't want to give her the satisfaction of knowing she's finally got to me.

Do you know where she got your information from? If she got it from BCL my first step would be to contact Rivals and forward them any and all emails from her and your responses to them.

I honestly don't know because she's found email addresses that I know have never been registered with BCL. I'm sure she knows my name because the first email address she got me at was one that is not registered with BCL.

And I've never responded to her. Not once.

From what I have been told, she is emotionally not well. And by not well I mean legally disabled. While upsetting, I doubt you need to worry about anything beyond the rambling accusatory email. My advice? Just delete them without reading in the future.

That's good advice Rath. I honestly don't know anything about her and I wasn't aware.

Do you know if Todd knows that she is doing this?

From the little I know about the situation, she is batshit crazy. I don't think they have lived together for quite sometime. She is not leaving him because of this situation she has made up in her head.

I wouldn't contact Todd at all. I probably would also try to refrain from contact the crazy woman as well. There's nothing you could say to her that would convince her that you weren't lying. You can't reason a person out of a position that they didn't reason themselves into.

Seriously this sounds like harassment to me.

Dizzy. I hope the PM solved things for you, however I do think it would be a good idea to notify your local police department of the situation, and by all means do not reply to any emails any other attempts to contact you.

Also, it would not hurt to speak with a lawyer who specializes in this sort of thing.

You need to take this sort of thing seriously, even though the there may be a very low probability that the situation will go beyond the present state.

Dizzy, if there is anything we can do, let us know. All of your "big brothers" here will look out for you.

Thanks. I appreciate that. If I felt threatened I would certainly have no problems involving the police but at this point I feel like there's a lot of 'pleading wife' in there more than 'I want to hurt you.' However- she certainly wants to hurt him. I have a sneaking suspicion that I'm not the only girl she's doing this dance with.

I spoke with Todd and I feel a lot better at this point. I think all is resolved and hopefully she wont contact me again but if she does - I am just going to ignore it. You never know what other people are going through in their life.

If it continues from this point on then I would heed the advice of OUCHF.

Yeah, not much chance you are the only person she is going bonkers on. I do hope it stops diz, that is just awful.

Yeah - spoke with Todd briefly - he knew that she had been emailing me. He said he had tried to assure her for a long time that he didn't know me. She's working on her problems. I hope she gets the help she needs. Thanks for checkin' BJUnklFkr
