Soon they will have their own pro team at Kentucky. After a few years of that championship, KY will go through what Memphis is dealing with now. Same thing happened at UMASS, btw. Of course, Calimari did not know anything about that either when he was UMASS LOL.

UConn has nothing to worry about. RC Johnson spoke with their AD about how to handle the NCAA hearing.

I bet he did. He used to be one of my favorite coaches, all the way back to our Great Midwest days when he was coaching UMass to Sweet 16s, Elite Eights and Final Fours, but, really, I don't have much respect left for the man. And I think it's fitting that he goes to Kentucky, a place with a rich tradition of cheating, and in a conference that just oozes in.

you sound like most reasonable Memphis fans. We all knew that he was a cheat but looked past it beacuse we were winning. I'm glad we hired Pastner as a way to detox our program. Kentucky fans must be worried.
Either Cal gets scared by the NCAA sniffing around and he doesnt get "his" players and doesn't win, or Cal doesn't care and wins a boat load of games that won't count in a few years time.
Hey Kentucky,
4.2 million is a lot to pay a coach who never went to a Final 4.
Signed,
Memphis and UMASS

Hopefully he didn't damage Memphis' reputation to the point where they can't get into a BCS conference or continue to compete a national level in basketball. This guy is a scumbag.

Judging by the national press, I think Calipari comes off much worse than we do in terms of perception. While we obviously have his stench still on us, I think having Josh Pastner as the face of the program can only help in the recovery effort. Of course, winning will help as well.
