That being said, if a company wants me to risk embarrassing me by offering me 12 million, then what the hek, go for it. If Favre has a great season he will be vindicated. If he doesn't, he will merely just be 12 million dollars richer.

Pick a theme and stick with it.

I tell you what, when I want advice from you on how I post, I will ask for it.

I've listened to Rome today and they had the TE from the Jets on and he said that he loved Favre and that Favre was a great teammate. He said most anyone would tell you that.

Also ESPN has interviewed a dozen Viking players over the last few days and ALL have said how glad they are he was there and that he is one of the guys, staying late throwing and going through the play book. Says he is confident and makes them confident and can still sling it.

You guys just always want to pick out the bad and run with it!

So it continues. The life of a Blazer fan in terms of Southern Miss football. All they have to use against USM football is attacking Favre. USM is 9-0 all time against them and last year the Eagles humiliated the Blazers 70-14. Then their great qb Hackney, who never got to throw one pass in the NFL, was dumped after one day by the mighty Winnipeg Bombers. So continue on Blazers. It really is priceless.....03-lmfao03-lmfao

If you think my feelings on Favre is out of jealousy, then you're dumber than I thought.

Hell, I LIKED the guy until his Hamlet imersonations started.

Dragging up irrelevencies like records and scores and Darrell Hackney won't change that.

Don't get mad at me! You started off your defense basically saying 'anyone' would come back for that kind of money--only to drop that line of thinking when reminded that Favre could have made more money taking the Packers' deal. Then and only then was it about 'desire to play and compete'. Foul, foul, foul.

But cheer up. If there's one thing your hero Brett has taught you, it's the fine art of waffling. 05-stirthepot

What has your hero Hackney taught you....how to fail....repeatedly...03-lmfao

I think ZERO would be a good nickname for Hackney now...

Irrelevant? Check out the number of UAB posters in this thread. My post is 100% relevant and the reason UAB posters dominate these Favre threads. You can duck and dodge the reasons why, but 0-9 and 70-14 are the cold hard facts why.

I remember Thomas Jones and other's comments about Favre's behavior on and off the field. So there couldn't have been that much team unity behind him:

They sort of have to do that, now don't they? Never mind you already had one vocal team leader who had already 'moved on' from the Favre drama back in May, showing support for the original Vikings QBs:

So which NFl team has been begging Hackney to come play for them? I can see why he got cut after one day by the awesome Winnipeg Bombers. They are loaded with qb's. Surely Hackney will give in to all the requests from NFL teams to come and play for them. I guess he is just so good, he is playing hard to get.

We've got just as much free speech as you do, quacker. And USM fans like you keep falling for the okie doke every time someone cracks about Brat Favre. If we 'can't help' cracking on him, you can't help defending your sister's (or Brett's) honor on the Hattiesburg water tower.

Come on now, football fans around the country want to know who that one in a million talent Hackney is going to be playing for in the NFL this year. Don't leave us hanging....

I used to respect Farve... but now....

How he dicked around the Packers, and got "his wish" then went back on his decision... saying the Pack forced him out....

How he duped the Jets into trading to sign him and he was only there for one year....

To the way he has done the Vikings management with his on off again wishes to join the team....

I mean...really...

Maybe you haven't been keeping up. It was the Vikings that were relentless in keeping after Favre after he turned them down. People got down on him when he turned down the Vikings and now those same people are down on him when he gives in to the Viking's requests and says yes. I mean...really

Name another teammate that said what Jones said about Favre. You can't! And who is Jones? He is about as irrelevant as Hackney is!

Perhaps, but this message board is probably the only one where anybody'd bother making jokes (and not very good ones) about Darrell Hackney. Everybody and their momma on every platform imaginable is cracking on the Brett Favre, who's probably more of a woman than his wife is.
