I'm rather astounded that Brohm isn't also on there at QB.

But, why pick a team when the decade isn't even over??

I'm somewhat astounded that the QB isn't Dorsey.

No offense to Douglas but Antonio Bryant won the Bilitinikoff trophy. I'd say he and Fitzgerald would be the best 2 wide receivers of this decade. But what do I know, I'm biased because I'm a Pitt fan.

I would have had Revis ahead of Rolle. I don't like the fact that they took 4 DEs instead of 2 DEs and 2 DTs. Not sure who I would have had as the 2 DTs tho. Maybe Wilfork and Eric Foster or Amobi Okoye.

I'm not sure those are the 5 best OLs either. They took 3 centers. I'll throw Jeremy Zuttah out as a name, and there are probably a few more you guys know for your teams.

Is this only a first team? If so, I understand having only White.

Still, 2009 has not even started.

no offense panther but Kenny Britt should be that other receiver considering he holds the BE's all time receiving record.

From our end what about Amobi Okoye for the DL from Louisville and Eric Wood on the OLine.

Me too. He was only 38-2 as a starter and never lost a BE game, plus he won the only NC for the Big East this decade.

Ken Dorsey had the great fortune of playing on a team with a great line, great back and great WRs. If you put him on a normal team, he would have been a very average QB. I would easily take White, Brohm, Tyler Palko and Matt Ryan (although Ryan blew up while in the ACC) over Dorsey

Jackson

Like White & Brohm weren't surrounded by talent. Maybe not at the level of those Miami teams, but it's not like they had a bunch of scrubs helping them out. Dorsey's record speaks for itself, and his college career is more accomplished than any BE QB this past decade.

It's rather silly to have a 'team of the decade' out when there is still 10% of the decade left. 01-wingedeagle

Who would make a significant enough impact in 2009 to make the list?

Who knows? I'm sure there are many guys who, if they have great seasons and make All-America teams and/or win major national awards could bump some of the guys off this list.

Since neither you, i, nor CBS has a crystal ball that tells us what will happen between now and January, it would probably be best of them to hold of on selecting a "team of the decade" until the decade is actually over.

LOL...okay. I'm sure we can revisit this topic in January and figure out which one of these proven stellar players to bump for a one-year wonder.

Dan Mozes won the Remington Trophy as the nation's best center. Wood didn't. 'nuff said...

Anthony Davis could bump Pettiti with a big year.
