And Dusty ruins another one
Edinson Volquez is gonna need tommy john surgery. What a shame. This is so not cool. Mark Prior, Kerry Wood, Shawn Estes, Rod Beck, Volquez, Harang, etc. Maybe this is just natural and none of these are Dusty's fault, but it's one hell of a coincidence. After all of this and the way Cincy has played this season, i don't see how Dusty could ever get another job.

Yeah, I'm not too pleased with Dusty right now. Volquez had the look of an ace, now he won't be out there for another year and chances are he won't be the same. Luckily he relies on a changeup instead of a slider like Liriano. That is why it was so stupid to trade Zach Stewart, with all the uncertainty about Volquez, Jocketty would have been very smart to keep our top pitching prospect.

Dusty is going to be gone by the time Stewart would have been in the rotation. No way Dusty and his boyfriend Wily Taveras are with the Reds next year on Opening day.
