Jim Jarrett's four-decade tenure as Old Dominion athletic director will come to an end in June 2010.

Jarrett, who came to ODU in 1967 as an associate physical education professor and was named AD in 1970, announced Wednesday that he will retire next year.

Might Old Dominion be interested in UR’s Miller?
University of Richmond Athletic Director Jim Miller is a Norfolk native who graduated from Old Dominion University, played two sports there and coached there.

So might the coming vacancy in the ODU athletic director's office interest him?
